The third session of the Learning to Empower Adolescent Girls at Scale (LEAS) series, in collaboration with The World Bank and UNICEF, was held virtually on 18^th February 2025 at 10:00 AM ET in honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. The session explored scalable initiatives to enhance girls’ access to STEM education and gender-transformative approaches for future female leaders in STEM. To watch a recording, click here.
From Classroom to Community Engagement: Promoting Active Citizenship Among Young People, was held virtually on 25th February 2025 at 13:00 – 14:00 CET. OECD data revealed that young people consistently show less trust in government and lower satisfaction with democracy. This webinar explored policies and initiatives to promote civic literacy and participation, focusing on OECD research on civic education and youth volunteering. To see slides click here.
