BE² January News: AI events, working paper launch, and your input on BE²’s 2026 priorities

• How can student voices shape education in emergencies? An INEE Community Conversation will take place on 19 January 2026, from 13:00–14:00 UTC, exploring how the lived experiences of learners affected by crisis can inform and strengthen Education in Emergencies (EiE) responses. Register here.
• The 2025 Movement for Reading Comprehension Regional Meeting was held from 9–16 December 2025, bringing together more than 400 organisations across Latin America to advance reading comprehension as a national priority. The programme featured over 20 live-streamed sessions with policymakers and international experts sharing evidence and country experiences to strengthen reading outcomes. Watch the recording here.
• An online event launching Education and the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus at 10, the sixth NORRAG Policy Insights, was held on 9 December 2025. Co-hosted by NORRAG and the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies, the session shared key lessons from a decade of HDP Nexus practice in education. Watch the recording here.
