• Problematizing Education: The Contradictory Roles of Education in Conflict & Emergencies was held virtually on 28^th January 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (UTC) on the complex and contradictory roles of education in conflict and emergencies . Organized by Education Above All (EAA), the session explored how education can both foster peace and stability and, conversely, become a victim of conflict or a tool for division during crises. • How to create inclusive classrooms for children with special education needs was held virtually on 30^th January 2025, from 13:00 to 14:00 CET. In the session OECD focused on designing classrooms that support diverse learning needs, including students with dyslexia, autism, and ADHD. It explored inclusive policies and strategies to help all students thrive. To watch the recording, click here.
• Educators Shaping Futures: A global Conference on Teachers Preparation and Development. The World Bank and the Learning Systems Institute at Florida State University (LSI@FSU) are hosting a two-day global knowledge exchange on teacher preparation and development on 23^rd and 24^th June 2025 in Washington DC. The event will focus on improving teacher recruitment, retention, and professional development to ensure inclusive, quality education for all. To register, click here.
