• AI for Teachers: Turning Education Evidence into Classroom Practice – a webinar hosted by OECD Evidence Web for Education on 17 March at 12:00 CET. The session will explore AI lesson-planning assistants and teacher chatbots designed to translate research into practice. Register here.
• The Comparative and International Education Society 70th Annual Conference will take place from 28 March – 1 April 2026, bringing together more than 3,500 researchers, practitioners, and students from over 125 countries. Browse and search the full conference programme here.
• The workshop Improving partnerships between governments and researchers: What can be learnt from defining priorities together? will take place on 28 March 2026 (11:15am – 12:30pm PST) as part of the Comparative and International Education Society 70th Annual Conference. The session will explore lessons from co-creating research agendas between governments and researchers across diverse contexts. More details here.
• The GEEAP panel session Achieving reading skills in a contextualized, inclusive way to mitigate the risk for conflicts will take place on 29 March 2026 (2:45 – 4:00pm PST) at the Comparative and International Education Society Annual Conference. The session will highlight evidence from the forthcoming GEEAP-endorsed literacy paper on effective, inclusive reading instruction in LMICs. More details here.
• The Education World Forum 2026 will take place 17–20 May 2026 in London, UK. Framed around “Educating for a Shared Future: Peace, Planet, Purpose and Pathways,” the forum will bring together ministers and global partners to examine how education systems can strengthen resilience, sustainability, and social cohesion in a time of global uncertainty. • The Comparative Education Society in Europe Conference 2026 will be held 29 June – 2 July 2026 at Roskilde University in Denmark.
