• The Schools2030 Global Forum for 2025 will be held on 3-5 June, 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya: ‘How might Teachers and Schools be the Partners of Choice in Solving Complex Learning and Education Challenges?’ The Forum will be welcoming 200 delegates from around the world, representing educators, policymakers, civil society organisations, researchers, donors and other education leaders.

• Innovative Practices to Advancing Green Schools will be held on 5^th June 2025, at 2:00 PM CEST as part of World Environment Day. The webinar will showcase good practices from Green Education Partnership (GEP) members and highlight the role of green schools in tackling the climate crisis. To register, click here.
• INEE and ERICC launched their new report: What Works to Improve Foundational Learning in Emergency Contexts with a webinar on a global evidence review of impact evaluations in EiE Panelists were: Silvia Diazgranados Ferrans, Education Research in Conflict and Protracted Crisis (ERICC), Caitlin Collis and Hassen Ahmed Assen, Luminos Fund, Colin Crossley, Youth impact, Karen Levesque and Jacqueline Mgumia, Imagine Worldwide, Deborah Greebon was a discussant. • IIEP UNESCO Strategic Debate Series – Debates will take place on 28^th May, 1^st July, 23^rd September, and 18^th November 2025, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm Paris time. Access the recording of the first debate here.
• Natural Sites as Learning Spaces for Education for Sustainable Development Webinar was held on 19^th March 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM (CET) as part of the ESD-Net learning webinar series. The session explored how natural sites can support place-based, interdisciplinary learning within inclusive and lifelong education. To watch the recording, click here.
• The Education World Forum (EWF), 18-21 May, 2025, London, attracted over 100 country delegations, including education ministers, secretaries and other government representatives. Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel (GEEAP) member Ben Piper, announced the new GEEAP paper on literacy during a Panel on 20^th May. A BE² brief with links to all BE² guidance notes was also distributed at the event.
