  • The AI in Education Global Community of Interest Session took place on 27 February 2026 as part of an ongoing series hosted by the World Bank and EdTech Hub’s AI Observatory and Action Lab.   • The UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning Strategic Debate #1 will take place on 5 May 2026 (2:30–4:00 pm Paris time, online). Framed around “Plan implementation: closing the policy–practice gap,” the session will bring together global education stakeholders to explore how reforms can move beyond design to effective, sustained implementation.   • The Comparative Education Society in Europe Conference 2026 will be held 29 June – 2 July 2026 at Roskilde University in Denmark.   • The Africa Foundational Learning Exchange 2026 (FLEX 2026) conference will take place from 15 – 17 July 2026 in Lilongwe, Malawi.
